Nail Art Tutorial : Floral Nail Blush

This will be my first nail art tutorial ever. The design is really simple and all products mentioned are linked to the related review/haul posts. Please let me know if you like it by posting a comment below.

Instructions :

  • Color your nails with Caronia in Italian Nude. This will serve as the base color of your nails.
  • Put glue or clear nail polish at the tip of your nails on a diagonal direction.
  • Dip your nails on the pink Nail Sequence ( Nail Art Accessories Haul ) then  flatten them. Brush off the excess but make sure to maintain the diagonal tip.
  • Put a red nail gem on the higher end.
  • Lastly, seal the design with clear nail polish.

Nail Swatch : Coco Nail Polish

Packaging is really simple. It's plain nail polish bottle with a cute plastic apple tag that hangs between the container  and the cap. Nothing important is written on it so you can just throw the tag if you want to. The nail polish doesn't have that strong smell like the others, it doesn't bubble and it's also very pigmented. One coat is opaque enough but the thing is, it looks more like a pen marker's ink is on you nails when its dry. Two coats plus a final colorless polish makes it look nicer. It doesn't last that long because it chip off immediately on the tips but you can use a base and a final coat to make it last longer.

The brush isn't really that bad considering its price. It's just that it's so stiff and the strands are literally thicker than my hair. Then again, it's better trimmed compared to Marry Nail Polish which I included on my post Haul : Hortaleza Nail Products.

Haul : Hortaleza Nail Products

Hortaleza General Merchandise store is the best stop for salon products and that includes nail stuffs. From cleaning tools to nail polishes and nail accessories, they have it. It’s just one of my favorite beauty store.

I went to Hortaleza to check-out new colors of nail polishes and here’s what I got.

Miss Beauty Crack Nail Polish
HD Crack Nail Polish
Caress Nail Polish
Marry Nail Polish
Lucky Perfumed Nail Polish Remover
a few nail sticks

I’m happy with the first three products I mentioned so I’m making separate reviews with swatches but the 4th one is just disappointing. It looks like a liquidy ice-cream paste with unmelted portions. The brush is also not even. It’s like fringe with several layers. I know it’s only Php 15 but Klick is only Php 18 and the quality is really nice.

The Perfumed Nail polish remover on the other hand, is a really good buy. It doesn’t leave white films on my nails, it doesn’t dry off that fast like the other ordinary acetones, it has moisturizer and it smells like candy. Really loving it.

Haul : Nail Art Accessories

I went to personal care section of the mall and here’s a few that I got. I don’t know exactly  what they are called but they are both from the makers of Klick and OMG Nail Polish.

One is like small sequence and the other is like floral shaped chips and they both cost Php 50. The Nail Sequence is really thin and tiny you cannot place it on your nails individually with tweezers. Either you sprinkle it or dip your nails on it or mix it with the polish for application. You can also use a toothpick lightly dip on clear nail polish to pick up a few sequence at a time.

Review : Nichido Volume Mascara

Let's start with the brush... The brush is compact and a little too thick for my taste. I wouldn't advise this for those with really short lashes because it can scratch your lids and become messy during application.

The solution is really thick so it can hold your lashes for a long period. Great for those with thick and stubborn eyelashes that points down. One thing about it is it may pile up into chunks so you need to wait till it dries before adding your second coat.

Tutorial : Vintage Pearl Bracelet

It's been awhile since I did an accessory video so to start the year, here's a new accessory tutorial. This is easier than the others I made so I decided to use power point to emphasize little details.

Review : San San Blushes

1. San San Cheek Blusher in Honey Blush
The color is lovely but it's a little powdery. It looks pigmented but it fades like there's nothing on your face when blended  so you'll need to apply it several times to be noticed. I usually do mine two to three times each cheek. I'm not sure for the other shades, but this one has a matte finish best during summer for that naturally healthy sun-kissed look. The brush isn't really any useful but if you insist on using it, do so in a circular motion.

Review : Ever Bilena 24 Eyeshadow Palette

I was looking for an EB Advance 24 E/S palette featured in Judy's channel from itsjudytime. Unfortunately, they ran out of stock and all I was able to buy was this 24 E/S palette.

I think you can find some of the colors in this palette from their 12 E/S palette previously released and EB Advance palette that I was looking for.
