My First FOTD : Blue Lit Fountain

This will be my very first FOTD post and honestly, I'm not sure if there will be more after this (depends if you want more =^x^=). I still wanted to try though and hope you would appreciate it. This will also be my entry for Celline08 of Product Arena's Giveaway/Contest. (You can click here for more info)

The giveaway is about the Holiday Festivities. Two winners will be chosen for the contest and two will also be randomly picked for consolation prizes. If you don't have a blog, you can simply post your looks on her fan page. Deadline of entries was suppose to be on the 31st of December but she moved it till 10th of January (still plenty of time to create the look =^-^=). Unfortunately, this is only open for Phlippine residents.

Let's move on with the look.

The Inspiration :
I took a photo from my friend's album on Facebook (Michael Belmonte Sagun). It's a picture of  a water fountain by the mall entrance with blue tiles and white lights placed on where the water is coming out ( I think...). Looking at the drops of water, I thought it looks like Christmas lights so I suppose it's a good choice.

The Look :

Eyes

1) I filled my eyebrows with my Wet n Wild Eyebrow Kit. I always do my brows first to know where the rest of my eye make up goes next.

2) I picked the blue eyeshadow from my Careline Quad in Soul. Its metallic so I thought it would be perfect for a little hint of shimmer.

3) For the outer corner of my eyes, I used the dark brown eyeshadow from my Maxfactor Duo in Shooting Star. I want it to be a little dark with a pop of color but still subtle.

4) Since there are lights at the bottom of the fountain, I added a white one on the inner corners to brighten up my eyes with my Ever Bilena 24 Eyeshadow Palette ( #3 on my blog post).

5) To line my eyes, I used Sansan's Eyeliner Pen in Black. I wanted to wing it but I ended up following the shape of my eyes instead <^^,>. Like what I said, I wanted it to be a little subtle or it'll be too much for my holiday dress.

Close up

Face

1) I used Maybelline Liquid Gel Foundation in Beige then set it with Nichido final powder.

2) For the cheeks, I only put a little of Ever Bilena's cheek blush in Tan to contour and Sansan' Age Defying Blush (#3) for highlight.

3) For the lips, I used peach color because I love wearing peach on my lips then mixed it with a nude one to tone down the brightness because my eyes are already emphasized.

Please let me know if you like it by commenting below. Thank you.

I'm really not a good poser but I still hope you'll like it and just smile with me.
